How To Produce Your First Website With Blue Griffon (Part 8)

OK, things are really moving at a pace now, and in the next video we’ll actually start building our first website with Blue Griffon.

However, before we do that I want to very quickly show you how we can insert a video clip onto our webpage. Videos are really powerful means of communicating with our potential customers, and with a few pieces of inexpensive kit it’s relatively easy to produce your very own video and upload it to YouTube.

If you fancy yourself as a bit of a Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie then get hold of a simple camera such as the Kodak Zi8, put it onto a suitable tripod mount and then shoot away!  However, if you doubt your photogenic qualities then you can always use screen capture software such as Camtasia or Camstudio (free!) to record a Powerpoint presentation with your narration over the top.

As an aside, if you’re really keen to have a go at producing your own videos then I really do recommend that you invest in the Online Video Champ course that has just been produced by my good friend Neil Travers.

I’ve produced nearly 40 training videos on YouTube and I still get a buzz from seeing the final product.

So click on the link below to watch this short video, and don’t forget that if you have any questions related to the content of any of my Blue Griffon videos then please don’t hesitate to contact me at

Enjoy the video!
